Sherry’s been great. We look forward to sitting down with her to work through the details of our new mortgage this week.

Tip: If you’re planning to build anything out of the ordinary, show inspiration photos to all the people who need to understand your project in order to help you – the people at the municipal planning office, the people you need to borrow money from, the contractors, and the appraiser.
Inspiration photos are the images you collect to capture some feature or the feel and general look of what you’re planning. It makes sense, of course, when people can see and understand what they’re being asked to help with, they become much more engaged and willing to help you reach your goal.
For instance, these photos were instrumental in helping key holders for our project understand what we would like to achieve.
So, we’ve leapt over another hurdle and Jeff at Kent Homes has promised that we’re still scheduled for delivery at the end of August.
We posted a lot of our furniture on Kijiji today as we’ll be moving very little to the new home. While built-in furniture and storage comes with a price tag, we would have had to build a larger home in order to accommodate our furniture, otherwise. Think streamlined.
While we wait for moving day, we’ll get into our long term storage boxes and scale back on what really needs to come with us. Although we’ve been living in 950 square feet for the past 10 months, we’ve got a whomping big stack of stuff in the garage…
