I love Gaspereau River Chairs as much for their quirky style as for their superior comfort. As Perry Park, designer and crafter of these chairs, tells it; he noticed his dad perched on an uncomfortable stump beside a row of empty Muskoka chairs. Perry asked why he wasn’t sitting in a chair. It seems the standard Muskoka chair was too low for his father to get up out of and too hard on his back. Perry figured if this was true for his his dad, it must be true for many folks. So, with his dad in mind, Perry set to work and the Gaspereau River Chair was born.
