Hi Deborah! My husband and I are fixing up an old farmhouse and we’re trying to figure out how to best make it work for our family. The house is gutted so it’s an empty shell and we need some direction on where to go from here. Unfortunately, we have to keep budget in mind as we have 3 little ones. We’re wondering if this is something you might be able to help us with? Thank you!!
Hi Martha! Thank you for reaching out. I love working on all sorts of home projects but small, old homes with small budgets are my absolute favourite! Repurposing is a great way to go when you’re working with a smaller budget and I have some amazing sources for inexpensive, but excellent finds. I’m known for being pretty creative with space planning. 🙂 Let’s start with a free Discovery Call so we can get to know each other a bit. I look forward to learning about your new home and your family’s requirements. By the way, congratulations on your new old home!
I am so happy to hear that, Deborah! I have been super stressed over this lately. Our house has sold and we’ll be moving in with my parents until our new home is complete. I am so excited to have some guidance.
Hi Martha, I’ve completed dimensioned plans incorporating all the details we discussed. Let’s meet at your farmhouse to review them. I’ve also invited you to the online studio, where you’ll be able to add photos and view documents after our meeting. I look forward to showing you what I’ve drawn up!
Hi Deborah! Our house is coming along… slowly but steadily. I’m loving that we can leave the old beams exposed in the kitchen and add shiplap. Your design is so doable for our little farmhouse and our family! Don’t you think a tin ceiling would be amazing in dining room? I might be able to take some from the old barn.
Stay tuned for more progress photos and the exciting reveal photos. Whatever the size of your home and budget, I would be delighted to help you design your dream home. Not only will I guide you with sound advice, I’ll also cheer you on every step of the way!
