Home at Hunt’s Point.7 – opening up an ensuite

An ensuite bathroom can feel calming and spa-like without needing to go for tried and true watery blues.  In keeping with the decor style of my client and her new home, black and white elegant curves create a nurturing, yet lively, safe-haven from which to enjoy the beautiful ocean-side landscape.

Originally, this room was chopped up with a fully enclosed shower and a separate water closet.  We knocked out both to open the space up to the beautiful ocean landscape.

Here are three before photos:

In mid-renovation:  Stunning black and white spanish tile presents a delightful welcome and draws you in to the room.

The shower is now completely open to take full advantage of the sun and scenery.

While the black ceiling serves to enhance the feeling of being enclosed and private in spite of the large windows looking out – like observing the neighbourhood from a sheltered front porch.
